British Airways is the second largest airline in the European region and belongs to United Kingdom. It is also the largest airline of United Kingdom having international schedules. By now, it encompasses a number of international destinations and also takes flights across Europe and Atlantic than any other operator. The headquarters of the airline are London Heathrow and London Gatwick.

On August 25, 1919, British Airways antecedent group – The world’s preliminary Aircraft Transport and travel (AT and T); commenced the worlds earliest every day worldwide scheduled air service relating between London and Paris. Throughout this time, numerous operations were also in progress by various smaller UK transportation corporations. British Airways was nationalized by in November 1939 with the commencement of the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC), which was a state run institution. In 1987 Sir John King (late Lord King) again privatized the British Airways.

Currently the airline is boosting its position by taking part in coalitions with major airlines. British airway is affiliated with the royal family of European airlines; British Airways (BA) carries travelers and consignment to more than 150 targets in a handful number of 75 states from hub at London’s Heathrow, Gatwick, and London City airports. The hauler manages a fleet of more than 240 aircrafts, consisting generally of Airbus and Boeing jets.
