Where Wall Street is Located?
Wall Street is located in New York (USA), which serves as the major financial market of this region. The headquarters of The Buttonwood Association is on this street, which was the root setting organization dealing in stock exchange. Wall Street is built on the tip of East River and Lower Manhattan and spreads from Broadway to South Street. The name of “Wall Street” was given to it when the Native Americans sold the “New Amsterdam” to Dutch and to separate the regions of this colony, a wall was established. Wall Street, being the part of New York, is the largest stock exchange market in the world, it has many headquarters in its lap like NASDAQ, New York Board of Trade and the New York Mercantile Exchange. From the earlier stages of its incorporation i.e. 19th and 20th century to present, the street emerged as the biggest financial allocating region in America. The whole street is surrounded by the beautiful buildings that are the central parts of offices and headquarters. The important buildings include Federal Hall, Bankers Trust Company building, 40 Wall Street that is of New York Stock Exchange and the headquarters of Deutsche Bank which is located at 60 Wall Street. Some points offer spectacular views and reflect the typical midtown Manhattan layout. Wall Street has contributed greatly to the economical development of New York as well as of United States of America.
The economic progress of United States of America chiefly depends upon the working of financial institutions of Wall Street as it is the hub of capitalistic investors. In 2012, a campaign was started to capture Wall Street as the investors in this area were controlling the economy of the world. Because of this monopoly the world economy was under stress and millions of people were disturbed because of this economic depression.
