Who has written “Satanic Verses”?

Salman Rushdie has written the book “Satanic Verses”. Satanic Verses is an expression coined by the historian Sir William Muir in reference to the inclusion in the Quran of a small number of apparently pagan verses said to have been uttered by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. Sir Ahmed Salman Rushdie ostensibly pronounced in English, though conventionally is a British-Indian novelist and essayist. He achieved notability with his second novel, Midnight’s Children (1981), which won the Booker Prize in 1981.
