Aleksey Leonov (USSR) is the name of astronaut who walked in space on March 18, 1965. He remained in space for about 20 minutes. Alexey Arkhipovich Leonov (born 30 May 1934 in Listvyanka, Kemerovo Oblast, Soviet Union) is a retired Soviet/Russian cosmonaut and Air Force General who became the first human to conduct a space walk.
