Lake ST Clair is the deepest lake in Australia. Its depth is 190 meters (623 ft). It is almost two million years old while it lies on the feet of the “Mount Royal Range”. It has the storage capacity of 283,000 million liters. The lake is surrounded by mountains and glaciers.
