Shanghai Seaports in China: Busiest Container Port in The World

Shanghai seaport is located in Shanghai, China. The Port of Shanghai is consisted of a deep-sea port and a river port. In 2010, this port overcame the Singapore port, which was the busiest container port in the world and now replaced by Shanghai Seaport. Geographically, the Port of Shanghai is located near the East China Sea from eastern side, and it interacts with Hangzhou Bay from the southern region. The Shanghai international Port Company Limited takes care of this port. It is a public limited company and the Shanghai Municipal Government owns 44.23 percent of its capital stock.
