Hornindalsvatnet Lake is the deepest lake in Norway with maximum depth of 514 meters. It is located in the area of Sogn og Fjordane and its surface area is 51 km2. Its volume is estimated at 12 cubic kilometers and ranks 19th in Norway. Hoenindalsvatnet is popular for its natural beauty therefore it is one of the most visited site in Norway. Eidselva is its primary outflow and its measures about 4 km in width and 22 km in length. This lake is also one of the most beautiful lakes with pure blue water and natural cliffs.
