Earth is divided into seven continents namely Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, North America, South America and Antartica. Asia is the largest continent while Australia is the smallest.

Asia is the most popular continent in the world. The first reason of the popularity of Asia is its land area and it covers 30% of the total earth land surface. Total area of Asia is 44,579,000 sq. km which makes it the biggest continent in the world. The second reason is the population of Asia which is over four billions (62% of the total earth population). The diversity of this largest population is also the reason of its popularity as it is the highest populated continent on Earth. Asia is also bounded by oceans from three sides, from east by the Pacific Ocean (the largest in the world), from south by the Indian Ocean (third largest in the world), from North by Arctic Ocean and European continent is on its west. The largest river in Asia is Yellow river in Western China which is 3398 miles long. There are also five diversified regions in which Asia is divided which are Central Asia, Eastern Asia, Northern Asia, South East Asia, and Western Asia (also known as the Middle East).

The highest mountain in Asia is Mount Everest in Nepal which is also the highest peak in the world. The largest river in Asia is Yellow river in Western China which is 3398 miles long.  China is the biggest nation in the Asia as well as in the world and Japan is with highest economy. Asia is the only continent where tigers are found in wild. Asia is also blessed with natural resources. Oil in the Middle East is the major supplier of much of the world’s energy.
